River Crossing Berber Basket
Our stunning collection of vintage Berber Bread Baskets have been hand picked on our recent trips to Morocco. Each piece is handmade and unique which is why we fell in love with each and every one of them.
Made by the Berbers of the Middle Atlas Mountains they are traditionally used to carry dough and bread to and from the public bakeries – a daily custom seen throughout Morocco. These hand-woven works of art add a beautifully authentic touch on a bookshelf, a table, or adorning a wall.
We only source vintage baskets as we love that they have a story to tell in the way they have softened and mellowed over time. Adding to their tale there is some gentle wearing on some baskets, further enhancing the look.
Each one is beautiful in its own right, but for an amazing impact we love them clustered on a wall.
